Stages Music Arts’ head engineer/producer Dave Nachodsky gives an introduction to studio mixing in the box. This workshop will cover topics such as:

• what is panorama and how to use it
• basic equalization and compression
• how to use plugins on tracks
• how to use reverberation
• ambience and delay
• how to create and use a subgroup
• overall mix levels

This workshop would be great for someone with basic recording skills already, who has or is planning to get a computer DAW (digital audio workstation), but needs some insight on how to begin mixing together all of the separate elements of a song.
