katherine boyce



A Baltimore native, Katherine Boyce received her M.Mus. from Towson University and her B.Mus. from the Eastman School of Music. While at Towson, she performed Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Laurie (The Tender Land), and the Siren in the premiere of Dr. Phillip Collister's Pasticcio Furioso. At Eastman, Katherine was awarded a Howard Hanson scholarship, sang the roles of Clo Clo (The Merry Widow), Elegant Lady (Les mamelles de Tirésias), and Fritzie (Cabaret), and was chosen to join Eastman’s elite Arts Leadership Certificate Program. A member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Katherine maintains an active private studio and studies with Jennifer Casey Cabot and Mark Markham. Commended for her “expressiveness and lush vocal lines,” soprano she made her Bel Cantanti company debut as Leïla in Les Pêcheurs de Perles November 2018. Last season, Katherine sang the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor with Center Stage Opera PA, with whom she has performed Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Nedda (Pagliacci) and Suzel (L’Amico Fritz)
