“Stages manages to be both professional and like family. Everyone is courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. My daughter has been in ukulele and piano lessons for over a year and has made tremendous progress. However, the best part is she looks forward to her lessons each time. Thank you, Stages!” – Audra R.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do students need to have prior vocal experience?

No prior knowledge is necessary! While some experience with singing may give students a head start, our instructors are ready and able to start students from scratch and teach them all the basic knowledge they need to get started singing.

What is the best age to start singing?

Any age is a great age to start learning how to sing, but we recommend formal lessons for students age 7 and older. Studies show that music education can improve a child’s academic performance and critical thinking abilities. And you’re never too old to start – learning how to sing is a great way for adults to stay creative and keep the brain sharp. For students younger than 7, we offer Mini Music Makers, an exploratory program focused on learning musical concepts through games and activities and experimenting with different instruments!
