Brennan McShane is passionate about music education and finds inspiration from even the youngest of students. Brennan has taught thousands of music lessons and played hundreds of shows as a guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist with bands of all styles. Currently, Brennan plays regularly with acclaimed cover band, Under the Covers.

In 2012, Brennan graduated from University of Miami Frost School of Music, where he studied jazz guitar under the tutelage of renowned educator Randall Dollahon (Steve Morse and the Dixie Dregs, Jaco Pastorius Big Band) and performed with Frost’s DownBeat award-winning R&B Ensemble. Prior to college, Brennan recorded with esteemed local producer Paul Levitt (All Time Low, Senses Fail) and producer Justin Chapman (Dr. Dog, Motion City Soundtrack).

We feel incredibly lucky to have Brennan as our daughter's guitar teacher for more than 2 years. He is always enthusiastic, positive, and encouraging. Brennan is extremely talented not only with musical instruments, but as well as a teacher. He truly cares about his students. We can not thank Brennan enough.

Her drums teacher Brett is a wonderful instructor. Since our daughter's started drum lessons he has helped her so much to learn and grow. He is very patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging. We highly appreciate his dedication and support. Brett has been the most fantastic drum teacher we could have hoped for.

Brennan has been an amazing piano and guitar teacher! He has been consistently moving me along in my skills and knowledge of both instruments! His own talent and skill is unsurpassed and i'm lucky to have him as a teacher, mentor and guide on this journey!!!!

Stages is the best! Everyone I've met there and have taken classes with loves music and shares their knowledge to help me become a better player. Huge shouts out to Brett Sellers and Brennan McShane. I'm in my second adult band with Brett who expertly leads us to making better tunes and becoming stage ready. And Brennan's guitar lessons make learning new songs, techniques, and methods way too much fun. Wish I had more time to play at Stages!

This is such a welcoming place! My kids and I all have had lessons here. The teachers help students to find what motivates them and builds their confidence. Brennan has superhuman patience and positivity, and he really knows his stuff. I highly recommend Stages for lessons and camps.

Stages has such a good vibe and energy from the moment you walk in. Whether it be performances being shown on the lobby TV screens, people chit chatting about music at the front desk, or the memorabilia and photos that line the walls, it gets you excited to show up to your lesson. Piano lessons with Brennan have been the BEST! He is so positive, upbeat and incredibly encouraging to our young piano player and is also very engaging with his students. The recital experience was also amazing and multiple ages/instruments showcased made it a joy to attend. We are so happy to have found this place!
