At Stages Music Arts, tuition is calculated on an annual basis and every student is guaranteed 48 lessons per year (not including lessons you cancel). This is why you pay the same amount each month, regardless of the number of lessons you have per month.
We do not issue make-up credits for holiday closures because these closures are already factored into your annualized tuition. Some days are more heavily affected by holiday closures than others (Mondays), so we have created equity for all students by holding make-up only lesson days on the other weekdays throughout the year.
On make-up only lesson days, we close for regularly scheduled lessons (typically around holidays and school breaks) and open our books for make-up lessons only on those days. This evens out the number of lessons each student receives per yer, equaling 48 for everyone, no matter what day of the week your lesson falls on.
