DEPOSIT / BOOKING REQUESTS
- In order to reserve studio or rental time, a minimum deposit equal to the amount of 2 hours is required for each service per calendar date requested.
- Deposits may be collected via email, over the phone, or in-person. Deposit payment may be made with cash, credit card or check.
- Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another day if requested 2 business days prior to the reservation. Deposits for sessions cancelled within this time frame are non-refundable.
- EXAMPLE: notice must be given on Wednesday to transfer a deposit for a session scheduled Sunday.
BOOKING RATES & PAYMENT
- There is a 2-hour minimum for sessions.
- All sessions are booked at the rates quoted by the studio and are subject to change.
- Sessions that exceed their scheduled booking will be billed in 1-hour increments at the standard hourly rate, assuming the room is available.
- Each booked day must be closed out at the end of that day’s session with the credit card on file unless otherwise requested. Balances may be paid with cash, check, or credit card.
START / END TIMES
- Billable time begins at the scheduled start of each booking, even if you are running late. If you arrive early and the studio can accommodate an early start, the clock will begin at that time.
- Billable time includes but is not limited to: load-in, instrument set-up, microphone placement, level setting, meal breaks, media transfer, rough mixes, break-down, load-out, etc.
- Billable time ends when the rental areas are cleared of all equipment and personnel from your session.
STUDIO DOWNTIME / TECHNICAL ISSUES
- If downtime occurs as a result of faulty studio equipment, that time will not be billed.
SESSION MEDIA
- Session media will only be released once full payment has been processed.
- Stages Music Arts is not responsible for backups of session material. We suggest clients bring their own Mac formatted hard drive for media transfer.
STUDIO / CLIENT EQUIPMENT
- Stages Music Arts is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen, or left behind gear/equipment.
- Any property left for longer than 30 days becomes the property of Stages Music Arts LLC.
- In the event a piece of studio gear owned by Stages Music Arts, or any part of this facility, becomes damaged by you or someone in your party, you agree to provide monetary compensation in the amount of full replacement value of the damaged item.
STUDIO RULES
- No use of other rooms or spaces outside of your booking / reservation.
- No smoking. This includes vapor and e-cigarettes. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas.
- No food in the live or control rooms. Please keep all food in the green room / lounge areas.
- No drinks near any equipment. You are responsible for any damage and/or stains caused by spills or accidents.
- No illegal drugs of any kind are permitted.
- Throw away all trash and clean up after yourself. Please leave the space like you found it.
- It is recommended that only individuals essential to the recording process be present during the booking.
- No more than 10 persons in the studio at any time without a special exception.
- Stages Music Arts reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
- These rules, terms, and conditions apply to every guest the Client brings to the booking. There are absolutely no exceptions.
TRADEMARK AND LOGO USAGE
- Client agrees, acknowledges and understands that client may only use Stages Music Arts’ name, logo, trade name, brand, mark, or other likeness with express written permission from Stages Music Arts. In the event of violation of this clause, client agrees to bear all litigation costs incurred by Stages Music Arts in order to prevent publication of such uses hereunder pursuant to this clause.
MEDIA RELEASE:
From time to time, Stages Music Arts captures photographs and/or videos of our clients during sessions and events. We reserve the right to use any such media captured within our facilities for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use on our website, in official social media posts, in promotional brochures, and occasionally in local or national news media.
Your acceptance of our booking agreement constitutes your consent for Stages Music Arts to use these photographs and/or videos without further notification, and without any compensation to you. It also serves as your agreement to release Stages Music Arts from any claims related to the use of your image.
