    Join us for a live Blues Jam at Stages Music Arts, presented in partnership with the Baltimore Blues Society. This jam brings together students, local musicians, and blues lovers of all levels for an evening of authentic blues, community, and live collaboration. Whether you’re stepping up to the stage or just soaking in the music, this is a welcoming, supportive environment rooted in the blues tradition. Anchored by a house band from the Baltimore Blues society, beginner and intermediate players will have plenty of opportunities to grow by playing alongside experienced performers.   • Stages Presents: Sophia Bryter

    Stages Music Arts is proud to welcome back alumna Sophia Bryter for a special hometown concert featuring fellow Stages alumni Oliver Unger and Andrew Young. A Baltimore-born songwriter and musician, Sophia got her start at Stages as a member of our All-Access audition-based band and went on to record her first album of original music that helped launch her professional career. Since then, she has released her debut album Moonchild, became a YoungArts finalist, been scouted for American Idol, and signed to Berklee College of Music’s student-run Revelation Records, releasing her latest single, “Beauty Is Pain.” Now in her final year at Berklee, Sophia returns to Stages with a full band including fellow bassist Oliver Unger and drummer Andrew Young for an inspiring night celebrating where it all began and how far a Stages artist can go. 50% off for Stages Academy Members (contact us for promo code)

Tournet was a founding member of Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, where he helped shape the band’s signature sound and co-wrote three Top 40 albums, including the gold-certified hit “Paris.” After more than a decade of touring and recording at the highest level, he stepped away to pursue his own creative path, reinventing himself as a solo artist and producer.
