ABOUT JIMMY HASLIP: Jimmy Haslip is best known as the bassist, co-producer, and composer for the Grammy-winning jazz fusion group Yellowjackets. He was also nominated for an Edison Award in 2000 and a Grammy Award for his work on Jeff Lorber Fusion’s album, “Now Is The Time.” Though mostly self-taught, Jimmy studied briefly under legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius, who he attributes to taking his musicianship to the next level. These are only a small portion of artists who have enlisted the amazing and inspiring drumming of Dennis Chambers. Hailing from Baltimore, he started playing at age 4 and was performing in nightclubs by the time he celebrated his 6th birthday. One of the most influential drummers of his generation, Chambers was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2001.
