He won the highly acclaimed Guitar Player magazine readers' polls for Best Guitar Riff on a Record (2007), Best New Talent (2008), and Best Out There Guitar Player (2013). Oz’s latest and eighth studio album, “Who Gives a Funk,” features an all-star roster of musicians such as Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Dweezil Zappa, Fred Wesley, Chris Potter, John Medeski, and Corey Glover. ABOUT JIMMY HASLIP: Jimmy Haslip is best known as the bassist, co-producer, and composer for the Grammy-winning jazz fusion group Yellowjackets. He was also nominated for an Edison Award in 2000 and a Grammy Award for his work on Jeff Lorber Fusion’s album, “Now Is The Time.” Though mostly self-taught, Jimmy studied briefly under legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius, who he attributes to taking his musicianship to the next level. ABOUT DENNIS CHAMBERS: What do John McLaughlin, The P-Funk All Stars, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Victor Wooton, Mike Stern, and Steely Dan all have in common? These are only a small portion of artists who have enlisted the amazing and inspiring drumming of Dennis Chambers. Hailing from Baltimore, he started playing at age 4 and was performing in nightclubs by the time he celebrated his 6th birthday. One of the most influential drummers of his generation, Chambers was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2001.
