Registration is now open to audition for the 2026-27 school year.
TO AUDITION:

Auditions will be held in person at Stages Music Arts on May 3rd, June 7th, and July 12th, 2026 and will last approximately 15-25 minutes. Bring your own instrument (except drummers and keyboardists). Pedalboards will be provided for guitarists/bassists, or you may bring your own (IF it can be set up quickly).
Auditions will consist of 4 parts:
1. Interview
State your name, primary instrument and any secondary instruments.
Discuss your musical background and experience.
How long have you been playing?
Do you have live performance experience?
What music are you passionate about performing?
Explain why you’d like to be a member of All-Access.
What are some things you hope to gain by being part of All-Access?
2. Play ALL the pre-selected tunes for your primary instrument.
Replicate the excerpts to the best of your ability including notes, rhythm, tempo, articulation, phrasing and dynamics. Vocalists will have access to live piano accompaniment available during the audition (if desired). All other instruments will perform unaccompanied with no pre-recorded tracks – judges may request a student play an excerpt with the original recording, but this occurs on a case by case basis, and the recording will be provided by the judges. Contact Evan Cooper if you need any alterations made to the pre-selected songs regarding key.
See below for song selection by instrument.
3. Play a song of your choice.
Choose a song that demonstrates your personal musical style and showcases your unique strengths on your primary instrument. Play 1 – 2 minutes from your selected song. Give a short explanation of why you selected this particular song. Songs may be performed with a backing track/original recording, or be performed unaccompanied. Students must provide their own backing track if they plan to use one. If you’d like to submit one ahead of time, please send to Evan Cooper. Vocalists can perform unaccompanied, with a karaoke track, or can request piano accompaniment. Reach out to Evan Cooper with your song choice and key (if different from original) to arrange accompaniment.
4. Technique/Theory.
Includes major scales, minor scales, rudiments, etc.
See below for requirements for your instrument.
Auditions will be held in person at Stages Music Arts on May 3rd, June 7th, and July 12th. Find your date in the calendar below to choose a time, or click “Jump to the next bookable date.”
