Tori graduated from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in classical vocal performance allowing her the insights on cultivating flexible, efficient, and healthy tone in a singer’s voice. She has also studied jazz vocal technique and pop-vocal technique. As a violinist, Tori has performed orchestrally at Carnegie Hall and in Towson University’s Symphonic Orchestra.
She has also studied piano and offers lessons for these two instruments as well as singer-songwriting techniques, having been an avid songwriter for over twelve years.
Tori’s core teaching values are freedom of stylistic choice for each and every student’s musical pursuits, broadening the student’s aural scope with exposure to a variety of musical styles, finding an optimal pace of progression for each student’s technical development, and overall fostering a safe, respectful, and enjoyable learning experience.
