Valarie discovered her interest in music at the age of 5, and her musical talents began to flourish with the guidance of passionate instructors. Through an apprenticeship opportunity during college, Valarie developed a passion for sharing her love of music, and the desire to craft musicians of passion, professionalism, and love for their craft was born.
As a teacher, Valarie aims to aid and assist students in achieving their fullest potential in their musical journey. Teaching is more than an occupation; it is a passion to see musicians fall in love with music as she fell in love with it so many years ago. One thing she loves about music more than any other hobby is that music touches the soul. One of her goals as a teacher is to encourage students to feel the music they play in their souls as well as to share that feeling with others.
Valarie values the importance of relationships and connection with students and their families, and her approach to teaching reflects this. She desires to connect with students in a meaningful way, encourage the students to set goals and push to achieve those goals, and design creative ideas to have fun as well as ideas to help us successfully reach our goals.
