"He sounds like a cross between Bob Marley and Bob Dylan." - New York Times Stages Music Arts presents the Omari Banks Trio to our gorgeous outdoor patio stage on August 23rd. Son of the legendary Bankie Banx, Omari was born and raised on the beautiful island of Anguilla and found his music calling at a young age, though he veered through a career as a professional Cricket player, where he excelled on the world stage. Omari leveraged his lifetime of experiences and life lessons gained traveling the globe back into his passion for songwriting and began perfecting his musicianship, leading him to create the debut album "Move On" - listed as #4 on the Top Ten Reggae Albums of 2015.

Cohlapser is a multi-instrumentalist, drummer, and producer blending Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Drum N Bass, IDM, and Ambient genres. His music creates captivating and introspective soundscapes with punchy drums, synthesized sounds, glitchy breaks, dreamy synths, deep bass, and rich chords. Cohlapser's compositions balance groove-oriented beats and contemplative melodies, inspiring reflection and calmness. Stages Music Arts Presents: The Wildwoods - an enchanting Folk/Americana trio whose flowing songwriting has been praised as "focused and charmingly human." The Wildwoods' delicate melodies and descriptive lyrics come from nature, love, experiences from the road and growing up in Nebraska. The band released their debut album, Sweet Nostalgia, in 2017 and quickly established themselves as a creative, harmonious, and instrumental force. Comprised of husband and wife team Noah (guitar) and Chloe Gose (violin), as well as Andrew Vaggalis (bass), The Wildwoods draw inspiration from a wide range of influences including the styles of: Watchhouse, The Decemberists, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Peter, Paul, & Mary, Nickel Creek, Joni Mitchell, and Gregory Alan Isakov. The folk/Americana trio work to harmoniously and delicately blend their voices to create a sound so nostalgic that you may find yourself dreaming and longing for sweet memories. **JUST ADDED** - Opening this show will be Ocean City, MD native Callum Toner - a 16 year old singer-songwriter with a unique tone of voice who swiftly travels through the world of sonics, making her own rules. Stages Music Arts is proud to present singer, recording artist and all around entertainer, Mariah Bonner, for an evening of Christmas cheer! You’ll hear songs in French, English and Spanish, ranging from standards such as *Let It Snow* and *Blue Christmas*, to beloved hymns like *O Holy Night* and *Silent Night* to more contemporary tunes like *Feliz Navidad*, *River* and more. “Confident stage presence, a warm rapport with her audience…Mariah was born to perform.” - Baltimore Jazz Alliance ABOUT MARIAH: Born in Baltimore, Maryland, the third of six children, Bonner grew up studying ballet and singing along with her dad as he played guitar every night at bedtime. When she was ten her family moved to France where she was discovered on the Champs Elysées by a model scout. A career in fashion modeling ensued, and she went on to appear on magazine covers and in commercials as well as to land her first role in a TV movie for France 3 called Qui Mange Quand? (Who Eats When?). Bonner attended The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where she discovered the art of storytelling through song. She has performed at The Gardenia Room, Los Angeles, Pangea, New York, and throughout the Baltimore/ Annapolis area at Keystone Korner, Manor Mill, An Die Musik and Live Arts Maryland. She is delighted to be appearing at Stages Music Arts where she recorded her first two albums!
